Hey guys! I don't know how many people actually read this or will stumble across it, but I'm trying to use all my resources here.

I'm walking in the Relay For Life here at West Virginia University with Kappa Phi, my sorority.

I know so many people who's lives were touched by cancer. Most recently my aunt who was just diagnosed this year, and when I was really little, my grandfather passed away from lung cancer.

If you have the means or the time, would you please check out my Relay for Life site, if for nothing else than to just spread the word, I'd really appreciate it.

Hiya everyone!

 I'm just writing this post to say that I already have my Scadian blog over at LiveJournal. The link is Kitalias_Keep.

Now for a little intro. I am a 21 year old who loves Pirates. That is my persona actually. My entire life I've been interested in Pirates, the lore and especially Jimmy Buffett. I grew up spending summers at the beach and taking trips to the nearby island and hope to one day settle in Charleston, South Carolina. My favorite Pirate-town. Now I know that none of that Pirate stuff isn't period for the SCA, and I am having a great time learning of the history of the pirate-people before making their way to the Caribbean and the states and that's where I am now.

My persona is not a "wench" but an actual Pirate. She was a French noblewoman in the early 15th century who's husband was assassinated by the French aristocracy. She sold all of her possessions and fled France and became an English pirate, spending the rest of her life attacking the French seeing revenge for her husband's wrongful death.

Other little things about me include, but are not limited to...

*I am a student at West Virginia University. Which means I reside in the Shire of Misty Highlands, AEthelmearc. I am studying Political Science with a concentration on Public Administration and a minor in Economics. I plan on going to either Law School or getting into the Masters in Intellegence Analysis Program here at WVU in the next year.

*I was in the marching band both here and in high school. For eight years I never had a free afternoon or weekend or August. I needed something to transition into to take up my time and the SCA came along just in the nick of time and I absolutely love it!

*I am learning to Fence. I started last summer and have fallen in love with it. I'm also finding more and more how all my time spent in marching band/colorguard is helping me to pick up and become better in fencing everyday.

*My favorite color is Orange!

*I love pretty dresses. That was my basis for trying out and then later joining the SCA. My friends were like you can do X, Y or Z and I was like "I don't care, I want to wear a pretty dress!" They just laughed. But I tend to spend more time in fencing garb than pretty dresses. Ah well.
